Casey & Sarah

There’s something between us; a sort of pull. Something you always do to me and I to you.
— F. Scott Fitzgerald

I loved this personal session with Casey and Sarah.  It was everything I had hoped for.  I had so much fun while I was hanging out with them.  We were just at their home, we picked out clothes, Sarah had some essential oils going (because she loves me), we jammed to Adelle. It was relaxed and fun, and so perfect to just let them be them.  I was so excited going through all the images after.  They were just what I was looking for.  The perfect feel.  It had all come together.  I felt good.

But it's after I delivered the images, that's what got me.  Sarah shared the following, and I was taken over with emotion, knowing this was one of the best things I've ever been a part of.  This is why I do what I do, and why I push myself to do more...

"The moments you captured in this shoot are true to our relationship. These are the connections we only share with each other so they are a real documentation of our love. Years into marriage, when you no longer recognize the people posing in your engagement photos, these are the real scenes worth capturing. Looking through this collection of images, I didn't cringe at wrinkles or imperfect hair, although I know they're in there, I just saw how romantic my husband is when he holds me and how happy I am to be in his arms."

Spencer & Chelsea

We loved with a love that was more than love.
— Edgar Allen Poe

I loved that Chelsea and Spencer chose to have their session at MSU where they met.  It was so fun being on campus and probably one of the most perfect fall days we could have asked for after a week of terrible forecasts!  Another one of my 2016 couples and I couldn't be more excited that we get to hang out and celebrate with them!
